Entity 2017 North kiteboarding Pads – Features, Review & Test

The  2017 North Entity Pads model stands out for two main characteristics: strength and adaptability to different foot shapes.

They have a hard plastic base and non deformable with  rubber inserts inside that make them soft and cushioning.

North offers 3 types of rubber to fit under your heels: hard, medium and soft. Changing them you can really feel the difference.

The upper strap is joined to the base of the pad with three connections: one on the outer side of the foot and two on the inner.

There are many joint points on the rigid base so the strap can be set up in different positions and with different width. With a bit of trial and patience they can be adapted to any shape of the foot.

In water test these pads had much success for their comfort and stability.

The foot is easily inserted and remains quite stable.

During the tests we choosed the intermediate configuration of the joints without customize them that much. This makes us believe that a more personal configuration could improve the feeling.

The high quality of materials and precise finishing touches make them virtually indestructible.

A major velcro quality is what distinguishes the Entity 2017 from the previous models.
